As i write, Wolfmother are playing Zeppelin

Dang gina. It's been a month since i wrote on this bloody page! Well, i have been rather busy i suppose. Been playing rugby and working hard and, well, that's about it. Adrienne gets here on Saturday so i will be taking a well earned break! We shall be frequenting London over the weekend and coming back to my little town via stonehenge (150 miles out of our way, but hey, i will refuse this lady nothing!). OL's won their first 20-20 game yesterday night against Leamington, 5-0 and i played a small part in that victory at the unfamiliar position of fly half. However we did get dumped out of the cup by a powerful Nuneaton 2nd's team. Well, thats been about the most interesting of times as well. I'm still working at North Leam, though half of the kids i've been teaching/looking after have been expelled or just not even turned up. Tough lessons taught by those who would be taught themselves. Anyway, more interesting times to report no doubt when Adrienne has been and gone. I await her arrival........

Lights on the horizon

Whats up y'all? Well, it's the bit where autumn and winter start to overlap one another now, which means it's generally chilly and wet. However, november promises to be an enjoyable month as Adrienne gets here midway through and i am going to france at the end of it for two days with my Dad. Have continued to play Rugger every Saturday, though i have been playing a bit crap up until yesterday. Scored a good try and played well with the team. Also helped to set up a Duathlon at North Leam, an event i used to compete in during my younger days. I've added a couple of photo's that Matt G was kind enough to take of me playing. As of yet i have still been unable to get it together musically with the boys, but we are still keen on making beautiful music soon. Work with the kids at NLS is going ok, though we've lost one for good now. Feeling a little rough today as i went out with the rugby lads yesterday, though made a break for it before we got to Rio's. All in all, a good weekend so far and there is seven hours left of it! Off to work to cover Harry's shift, think they may be using me as a Manager tonight, should be fun!

Ah hah! I saved this as a draft so i can add to it! I have more information with regards to my nocturnal activity from saturday. Seems i owe a young lady an apology as i rampaged through benjy's and literally carried her out the door. I have no proof of this though i am assured it was all caught on CCTV (oh joy). Will owe this person a very sheepish apology, if i ever meet her. No idea what she looks like either! Hmmn. Think i shall be backing off the booze for a spell!

You all laugh because i am different, i laugh because you are all the same

Sup guys. Well, not much really to report on. Still combining the job at Benjy's and NLS whilst playing rugby at the weekends. It is taking it's toll on me but i can't really afford not to be doing this. Have begun a search for jobs in the summer, fany my hand at an englihs summer school style camp again. Have talked with embassy but don't think they will really want me back and if i am honest i don't really want to go back there. Not so long until Adrienne shows up and i hear from the voice of Shaggy that he will be frequenting England over Christmas! Miss all of my travelling buddies and miss waking up on the otherside of the world. Oh, speaking of Shaggy happy International Talk Like A Pirate Day for last Tuesday me hearties.

Life in the fast lane

Well, i'm over the month mark for being home. Two months ago i was working in Missouri, Four months ago i was diving the barrier reef and this time last year i was preparing to go on the journey of my life! Ah well, these things are now but memories, but what memories they are. So, what's been going on then? Well, my week is taken up by juggling working at North Leamington School and Beny Satchwells, whilst attempting to train with Old Leamingtonians twice a week. Not going to lie, it's tough. This weekend i got home at four AM Saturday and was up playing rugby by 12 then back to work at 6 until 4 THE FOLLOWING MORNING! On top of that, the next day i went Frisbee Golfing with 5 of my mates and played rugby AGAIN against a guest 15 inculding Darren Garforth (ex-England and Leicester Tigers front row) and Mike Umaga (Current Coventry coach and former Western Samoa international, also the brother of Tana Umaga, the All Blacks captain for a few years). We lost some what unsurprisingly, though i was able to have a chat with Garforth later on about his in-laws who i knew in Harbury. Speant the Sunday evening playing Halo round at Steve's flat. This week my hours at School and the pub have been increased so i think for the sake of my sanity i shall give training a miss on Thursday! News just in, my sister's fella, Alex, has had his car broken into which is seriosuly crap for him as there is nothing to steal in there so he leaves it open anyway! Some bloody people!

New Job!

Wahey! I got the job! This is now the blog of an official (pending Police Check) Teachers Assistant to North Leamington Schoo. The kids i'll be looking after will be those with behavioral problems, a task my time at Camp Shawnee will surely assist me with. It feels good to be working with children again, even if it is only for 12 hours a week. I think this job will highly increase my chances of getting a PGCE course in the future.  Played my first competative game of Rugby on saturday as well. Unfortunatly we lost, but oh well. Thing is my contemporary at scrum half had a bit of a shocker, so it did me well to play as well as i did. Training was good tonight too, and i hope to have a full game for the seconds on saturday. I also hope to not get a black eye as i need to have my photo taken for ID purposes at school. WEnt out and had a couple of drinks for my friends birthday tonight, poor lad barfed up after his 5th absinth. Impressed he lasted that long. I still await the arrival of the beautiful Adrienne into my hum drum english life. I think up until that point life is going to fairly colourless unless my and chris can pull some stuff together musically.

See that? That was time flying by that was!

Damn gina! Been nearly 3 weeks since i got home, feels like i've been here for years (i suppose i have in a sense). Well news to report, i played my first 20 minutes of competative rugby on saturday and equally sad to report i was on the loosing team. I'm about two paces slower than i used to be and three paces slower than i want to be. The pub job is ok, Tammy (Ze boss) is being very understanding with regards to my hours and i hope to go part time next week, should i get the job as a TA at North Leamington. I ran up there with mum yesterday (well, i ran she cycled) and had a look around, very weird being back there but i think i'll do fine there. Oh yeah, we raised a shed load of money for CLIC Cancer research on Sunday when half the staff at Wetherspoons copied me and Stuart and had their heads shaved. When we collect all the money we should have over £800. Thats a big if though isn't i? Here are some photo's of last Saturdays game for those who want to see a little more of the English game of rugger. Wish me luck for my interview.

Back to Reality......!

With a thump! Well, been back in England for around a week and a half. Not managed to see everyone but thats because i have no money! Have a speeding fine to pay as well as trying to get rid of the debt i already owe. Kind of sucky me say. Anyway, this past week has been spent catching up with people. Have spent an obscene amount of time around at Dennis's, but that is because he lives only 5 minutes away and it's a huge novelty for me to have my leamington based friends on my doorstep so to speak. Had a Halo session around at Mulky's last night, last game was a tough one as it pited the might of Chris, Dan AND Matt against me and Steve. Arses were kicked and unfortunatly i was the owner of one of these arses. Got my old job back at Benjy's, Supervisor once again, at least for the forseeable future anyhow. Biggest plus is that the wonderful Adrienne is going to attempt to come to England in Novemeber, this makes me very happy and smiley. So fro those of you i have yet to see, be patient or get your buns to Leamington Spa!
